Getting to Kurashiki is convenient, with easy access via Shinkansen from major cities like Tokyo and Osaka. From Okayama, you can jump on a train and arrive at Kurashiki Station in just a few minutes, ready to explore the city’s enchanting attractions. I used the JR Kansai Wide Pass for unlimited train rides in the Kansai area, including Kurashiki.
Once there, navigating Kurashiki is a breeze. Buses and taxis are readily available for exploring the town and its surrounding areas. Alternatively, embrace the leisurely pace of Kurashiki by renting a bicycle and pedaling through its charming streets at your rhythm.
